Sometimes referred to as “partial crowns,” “laminates” and “facings,” veneers are made of a strong, durable porcelain material that can be tinted to match the natural colour of the surrounding teeth. These thin porcelain shells are placed on top of the existing tooth surface using a special adhesive that is then permanently affixed using a high-intensity light. As a cosmetic treatment, veneers are primarily used on front-facing teeth, although it is possible to veneer posterior teeth as well.
Prior to proceeding with your veneers, we can do mock-up veneers for you using composite resins if you so wish.
